Alternative Course Study

On a case-by-case basis, the RSM Deputy Director (Education) may approve alternative courses to be counted towards the major restricted choice study requirements. Such reasons may be (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Supporting applications for global exchange opportunities for overseas study
  • Unexpected change in course class offerings that impact study plans
  • New (or other) courses being offered that complement existing courses within the major

Requests are to be made to the Convenor via email to ANU Student Central, and for each alternative course nominated, please include the following details:

  • Course code and course name
  • 1–2 sentences to justify the relevance of the alternative course to this major
